These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of A2Z Edit at a2zedit.com. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

A2Z Edit provides free browser-oriented utilities (image editing, PDF helpers, OCR, QR codes, Civil ID PDF helper, temporary file links, redirects, and related pages). Features may change, pause, or be removed at any time without notice.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Most tools do not require an account. You are responsible for activity from your device and for any links you create.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal activity or to violate others’ rights.
• Upload or share malware, stolen credentials, or content you do not have rights to distribute.
• Abuse temporary links or redirects for phishing, spam, scams, or distribution of harmful material.
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape aggressively, reverse-engineer in ways that violate law, or overload our infrastructure.
• Bypass rate limits, security controls, or access admin areas without authorization.

We may delete links, block access, or report abuse when we reasonably believe these rules were broken.

4. Your content & files

• You retain ownership of files you process. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate features you choose (for example, storing a temporary share until expiry).
• You are solely responsible for the legality and sensitivity of files you upload or share.
• Temporary shares are not a backup service. Download your own copies; expired or forgotten links may be unrecoverable.

5. Intellectual property

The A2Z Edit name, logo, site design, and original materials are owned by us or our licensors. Tools may rely on open-source or third-party libraries; those remain under their own licenses. You may not copy the site branding for competing products in a confusing way.

6. Third-party services

Some features depend on third parties (hosting, object storage, optional AI providers, Civil ID helpers). Their availability and policies are outside our full control. We are not liable for outages or changes on those services.

7. No professional advice

Outputs (including OCR text, PDF edits, QR codes, or AI answers) are provided for convenience. They are not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Always verify critical results.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that files will never be lost.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, A2Z Edit AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (CURRENTLY $0 FOR FREE USE) OR (B) USD $50.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify A2Z Edit and its operators against claims arising from your content, your links, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
